ok, now we're going somewhere.
Well, your water temp gauge runs off the temp sensor on the lower radiator hose (I believe). The Engine Temp sensor is connected to the coolant stream next to the bleeder hose on the intake manifold.
That is a likely culprit. On mine, it was actually the connector that was bad, and when you wiggled the connector/harness there, idle would surge up & down.
You can check to see if it does that. Also you can remove the connector clean it out, remove the sensor, clean that up, etc. You may have to replace it, but there is a testing procedure I believe - that you will have to look thru the FSM, if you don't have one, you can search for the free one on here and refer to the testing procedure in there.
Code 41 is Intake Air Temperature, which is the small resistor in your intake box before the MAF. That "should" be for diagnostics only and shouldn't affect your car's performance at all. However, you can take that out and clean up the unit and connector too.
After you do all that, reset the ECU, drive around a bit, see if the problem still persists, and pull codes again.
While you are at it, no reason not to clean up the MAF sensor & connector too. Specifics on how to clean that can be found via search.
