Ok, so since I rebuilt the motor and reused the old liters, they have made noise. I tried buying another used set but it didn't really improve my situation. I tried pulling them all out, and then trying to install the best of the 32 that I had available. That helped but didn't completely alleviate the ticking. At that point I gave up and said screw it and just let it go. Well recently it finally got to where I couldn't stand it anymore and I got a new set of lifters. Since I've done this a gazillion times,I'm pretty quick about it and know where everything is at. It still took me a little under 2 hours to get the car apart, new parts in, and get the car back together.

It then took well over a half hour at idle to get all of the damn things pumped up. It sounded like a desiel when I started it, LOL. Anyway the car sounds great now, and it may be my imagination, but I think the power hase improve a little as well.

If anyone is intrested in a new (rebuilt actually) set of lifters let me know. I had two sets setting around so I had them all rebuilt. You can email me at HERE. I'd like to get $80 + shipping for them. That's about 1/3 of the price that you'd pay for them new from Nissan.

Those are mine and I want them ASAP! Mine are clapping like some loose coochy and I've just about had enough of them myself. I'm home for the holiday til Sunday, but you can call me anytime Monday-Friday after 1630 EST and anytime on the weekend because if you don't, I'll call you. Again (Dibbs), I want those lifters and I am now locking this thread. If you guys are interested in the service he got, take advantage of his contact information he provided. And if float wants to unlock this thread or start a thread offereing lifter service, he has the same amount of authority I have so, holla' at him.

Dee
