You mean MRR wheels? lol... I have MRR, not MMR. But I think you probably had too many shots and couldn't type well... Just kidding. Thanks for the compliments everyone.Mr.Coupe wrote:Car looks real nice. I love the Dark Slate...That's buy I bought one LOL . MMR's are good wheels. My friends brother is the owner of MMR wheels. I'm not bragging I'm just saying he's the owner. Well your car looks GREAT . What's next for your car Tanya?

Wow, Pep boys eh? Strange, two months ago they could only order them but didnt keep them in stock, because "They are a higher end than we usually carry." I mean, Im just saying, thats what the guy told me.alticoupe3.5 wrote:i saw these rims the other day..same make and everything......outside pep boys

And Ricky, Plans right now are: 5. Exhaust system (although, I am REALLY impressed with the sound of my coupe stock when Im "on it," but I want more power.)
I saw that you will be painting scrapes on your lip and are planning on getting coilovers because the eibachs aren't low enough. I think you will need to fix scrapes on your lip often in that case. I'm just giving you a heads up. Car looks beautiful .NissNEZ08 wrote:

4. and I have a few bumps and scrapes on the Lip Spoiler, and driver's and passengers doors, NO FAULT OF MY OWN! Other people just have no respect anymore...that I will be getting repainted,
7. and coil overs eventually (because the Eibach springs just are NOT low enough.) After that, not sure of what else I want to do to it.
Dude are you serious MRR wheels are used by higher end cars like BMW's, Benz, Lexus's and ECT. I've even seen a few Bentleys that have MRR wheels.alticoupe3.5 wrote:i saw these rims the other day..same make and everything......outside pep boys
I didn't even know that Pep-Boys sold these kind of wheels. They mostly carry Motegi and American Racing. Damn girl you got him I would say .NissNEZ08 wrote:I bought mine from a company called ELEMENT DESIGNS in Tempe, AZ. The same place that does BMW's, Mercedes, and other higher end cars. They sell a s***load of these wheels because they are such a great product and offer a great selection in colors, sized, etc...
So, you have a great day and maybe some day your criticality will dissipate and you can become a happy person.... LATA!
Tanya
Hey dude don't get butthurt . To be honest I didn't know that the owner of the store could pick what wheels they want to display. I live in LA and from all the pepboys I've been to they only have those brands that I mentioned. And I'm not the kind of person that's all talk and no show just to let you know.alticoupe3.5 wrote:its a shame people on here are quick to judge on others and what they have to say..
and being a former employee of pep boys, i would personally know what they get in stock and in fact it is up the the owner of the store to make orders on what rims they want displayed at the stores.
the better merchandise the store carries, the better business they get. in the store i worked at (which was 2 years ago) we had gotten in all makes of rims and not just american racing and other cheap makes.
go ahead and mock and try to prove wrong and jump to conclusions...after all, it is the internet and people are "talk" and no show....it doesnt bother people.
I got you MR.COUPE....im not talking down to YOU. im just letting YOU know how some of the stores run their operations. i know of a couple stores here in NJ that do this.when i was working, i do remember that we have gotten not just american racing muscle and vintage, but we have gotten some ENKEI performance line, some O.Z.Mr.Coupe wrote:

Right, I hear you bro. I would love to see the pepboys around here carry ENKIE, O.Z. and other brands like that. You would think that since these store are in Los Angeles where I would think the majority of modded cars are at they would , but they don't. Next time I go buy oil I'll ask one of the dudes is they could order a set of different wheels besides the ones they have there. I might even talk to the manager and have them change their business around to have them make more wheel sales . Thanks for the info though bro .alticoupe3.5 wrote:

others are just quick to judge and read comments the wrony way
you would deff have a chance to persuade the manager of the stores around you...when i was working at pep, we would get in a new set of wheels about every other week, because it does put a small dent in the store revenue . but when we got them in, they were gone within a couple days! good luck! hopefully u can get something going on over there in CaliMr.Coupe wrote:
