Took 2 hours of incessant pushing/pulling/raising/lowering/etc, but we finally got the RB20 drivetrain mounted into my car :) :) :) It'll take a bit more work to get it to run, of course, but at least it's in there.

My O2 housing actually doesn't contact my steering shaft at all; I'm using the stock R32 skyline crossmember and mounts, and I have about 1/4 inch of clearance between the housing and the shaft. It looks like enough clearance to me; what do you guys think? Is 1/4" enough, or should I try to dremel some of the housing away and give it some more room in case the engine shifts during hard cornering?

Good news, Project240; congrats.

My steering shaft missed by ~1/4" also, but then I found out that I couldn't push the u-joint all the way down on the steering rack gear.... because the shaft was too short. Somehow the R32 x-member moved the gear farther away from the firewall, giving me lots of clearance but creating another problem in the meantime.
