Finally got my 'Instruction Permit' so now I am able to legally drive (given i have a parent in the passenger seat)

Its alot easier than I thought it would be (in traffic I mean, ive driven on back roads and stuff for years). But what sucks about washington is that when you get your license at 16 there are a TON of restrictions.

You can't drive anyone under the age of 20 unless they live in your household (no friends in the car unless theres a parent in the car too).

Cant drive from 1am-5am (not a bad rule)

Have to have your permit 6 months to get your license. (Since i got mine on the 9th i have to wait til march 9 to get my license even though my birthday is feb. 28)

After you have had your license 6 months you can drive up to 3 of your friends. No more or you get your license taken away for a year or til your 18, whichever comes first.

Bunch of other little stupid ones that I cant remember.

But on a lighter note, driving is real fun. Still havnt gotten the Maxi running yet, so i have been driving my mom's LHS. BIG car. lol

I have my first of 10 instructed drives in my drivers ed class on tuesday, Wish me luck!

actually I meant until you had a driveable car. For you sake, I hope it's a minivan, not to be mean or anything, but you'll learn to appreciate any kind of vehicle and most minivans have killer understeer...

I drove a '95 Lumina 3.8 minivan for my entire high school life...

I have until march, so this winter me and my stepdad (former mechanic) will prolly put the transmission into the car.

There is a wrecking yard that has the part, were trading this wrecked car we have for it.

Yeah, ive heard minivans are nice to drive as first cars. If i were to get one I think id want a Mazda MPV like Jesda's mom has.

haha!, if you look through corksport, I think you can find a turbo motor that will go into those.

Another by product of my searching to make a badass ford escort gt...

Heh.. I remember my first days of driving. Lots of fun.. good memories..(although it was only a few weeks ago)..

Word of advice: Don't go in there thinking you're a macho race car driver[not saying that you think that way]. Learn things like the rest of the guys, and take your time. Practice as much as you can, and learn as much as you can.

I learned how to drive from video games. I think it's why I'm a sucky driver, damn games and being unrealistic...

Two biggest mistakes the state of Indiana has made?

1. Giving me a drivers license2. Giving me a conceal carry permit

Lord help us all

damn, over here until one turns 17, he can't drive past 11pm, other than that all of the friends and such are welcome, as long as they all have seatblelts

I need to get my permit....

edit: hey Cold, I feel kinda dumb for insisting the new G36 rifle was the G33, don't know what I was thinking there, must have been the whole 93 and 53 thing with all their other other .223 rifles, damnit, I should know my guns better than that!

I don't even remember what kind of dumb rules TN has concerning minors driving, probably because they don't apply to me though...
