well first ill like to thank everyone for helping me out alot with my swap all your info was taken in to consideration . my car runs insured and i loved it until i came across this issue ..

im using an ca18de maf sensor i dont know if this is the problem im having but when i start my car it idles great rev it up it revs time to drive yesterday and this is what happens . 1st gear would run fine until 3500 rpm then it seems like it has a sputter 2nd3rd4th and 5th the same happens but there all at different rpms

is ther anyone that had this problem before what did you do about it and what causes it ? im guessing that its the maf , it can be dirty , but ill try cleaning it today and see if that changes but thats my question for the day .

I don't know the diameter of the CA18DE MAF, but I've heard that a KA24E will work fine. I'd suggest buying a CA18DET or Z32 MAF. That is probably were the sputter comes from, as the MAF isn't putting enough air into the system while your ECU is still dumping the same amount of fuel. The air/fuel ratio isn't correct, and at higher rpms' it'll over-load. Good Luck!

http://www.modifiedstreetcars....rsion Everything on this site is all the same when installing a CA18DET. I think they may have some information on mafs troubleshoot.

You can also ask Robert(JDM_master_x) on his thread zerothread?id=198142 I think he mentioned that an N62 q45 will work with the CA since it works for the SR engines. You got to double check with him though and he may have the maf you need. Hope I helped and the problem gets diagnosed and fixed..
