So after pouring over out budget, praying, stressing, and driving around a 90s Avalon for the past few weeks, I think my wife and I finally figured a car solution.

We're going to sell her Celica and buy and I30 and and Evo.

In addition to that, I contacted the shop regarding the salvaged Evo we really wanted, and they coincidentally are done with the car and decided to drop the price and offer it to us in exchange for a website.

So the total car payment will be around $240 per month and insurance will drop to (hopefully) $100 per month. This will be a huge drop from the $670 per month we were paying before.

I'm happy. Might even get the car this weekend and take it on a road trip

Glad you finally get there. I was just thinking about your situation few days ago. One of my guy is in the same shoes like you. Only differences are he wants to get an STI and an old Lexus. He is selling his bike R6 and his Dodge pick up.

Glad you are happy. Cars are such a huge investment now. You really have to think and plan.

I used to drive by a dealership and stop and buy a car. A year or so later I would do the same thing. You can't do that now. They depreciate too much.
