Yay broken soft top arm!

The reason why I'm posting this is to ***** and whine. So if you don't wanna read just hit alt+f4. So after a nice dinner date with some friends, my fiancee forgot to lock my top after I put the top up. I locked my side though. As we are leaving I decide to get on it a lil bit, then all I hear is clunk, and I feel wind.

Yes that's right, my convertible arm on the passenger side snapped. yay! Well it's not that bad I suppose, I think I might be able to weld it, but I dare not attempt it cause I don't want to set my (beat up, ripped up, and falling apart) top on fire. And I don't think JB Weld is going to be enough.

Ugh, me and one of my co-workers were thinkikng we could rebuild the both arms, not quite sure though. Anyways what do you guys think? Any advice?

also post pics of what you broke my friend had given me a heads up on a vert thats about a 1 1/2 hours from me.. hes going to see if its still there so i can go strip the damm thing
