YAY! Another potentially good GM product destroyed by the I5!

The H3. NOT a typical hummer. A decent truck, real offroad capability, with a good interior, respectable gas milage (for an SUV)--all ruined because GM ONLY OFFERS THEIR POS 5 CYLINDER!

This thing is about the size of a Dakota, and it's got a craptastic, poorly balanced, 225 ft lb and 220 hp. They don't even offer the straight six! If they had any brains, they'd make the six an option. If they were REALLY smart, they'd offer the Trailblazer's V8.

But they're not.

So a potentially kickass product is an underpowered status symbol.

Oh boy.

Thats a shame. At first they were going to offer a diesel option.

GM is adept at shooting itself in the foot.......and then they wonder why they're in bad financial shape.

They would have been better off putting the extra cylinder wall in there. Historically I5's have never sold well. The Mercedes diesels were the closest to ever being decent.
