[SOLD] Y51 Rear Bumper Diffuser

Mods: As always, this section gets more traffic than the For Sale section, so I'm posting this here. If that's an issue, feel free to move the thread.

Gents,

Up for sale is my JDM rear diffuser along with the LED bar. I had it imported brand new. The only reason I'm selling is because it doesn't fit on the 15+ rear bumper which I recently changed over to. Was really hoping it would as I really don't want to part with it, but if I spend the money to make it custom fit, I may end up single lol. Overall the diffuser in a good shape with the exception of a crack on the left single. I was originally going to get it repaired eventually but it didn't bother me that much and I ended up doing the refresh.

Really wanting this to go to a good home. I'll work with any serious buyer. Was wanting a local seller but as I mentioned will work with any serious buyer in terms of shipping.

i truly suck at taking pictures of my ride so unfortunately I don't have a ton of pics of the diffuser installed. As a result I'm including pictures of it installed on a car from Japan that also installed.

I had this posted on FB for $1200 but I'm accepting offers. This will seem steep but I paid almost a grand in just shipping alone. I understand in this day and age most wouldn't do so, I get it. Like I said, I'll entertain serious offers and go from there.

How does this attach to the existing bumper?

There are attachment points near the bottom that make it line up at the bottom of the bumper where the mud-flaps would go. For added security I drilled two holes in my bumper behind the LED bar.

I'm considering this; but I'm not sure how it would look with my aero sides. The diffuser has much sharper edges in contrast to the smooth rounded lines of the OEM aero sides.

I had the full Aero kit on my car and thought the diffuser looked fine with it

My car's black so it's hard to see line details but here's an old picture. You can at least get a rough idea of the lines on the diffuser with the Aero skirts.

Do you have extra carbon fiber under your side skirts or is that just reflection?

It can be painted white if you really wanted it to be that color, but in my opinion, I think it would look odd. Most diffusers are black or carbon fiber. Not trying to sell you on the part, just giving my opinion, for what it's worth.

Makes sense. When I first saw it I thought it was the entire rear bumper. Looking closer I realized it wasn’t. I’m definitely considering it.
