put this on a couple weeks ago. definitely a pain as the outer shell has to come off and it is double sided taped on there crazy like. make sure you have industrial grade double sided tape to replace it, or order oem stuff through local dealer. small touch but really like the simpler look of it.
here is the pic, new installed (obviously) old in hand....

Can you post a pic from further away?

Subtle, but I like it

I actually have this on my M45. I broke the clips on the back of the stock Infiniti trim piece because the shell wouldnt come out. Thise 3 white clips holding it to the lid wouldnt budge without the help of pliers...my mistake. Overall, pretty easy and straight forward - took about an hour start to finish.

What did you pay for yours? I got mine through JZS but I am sure it can be had cheaper elsewhere.

My family in Japan wouldnt even know where to start...theyre all 50+ so scratch that for me. I have a couple other sources but kind of unreliable so I cringed paying for a little plastic. Cringed even more at the 600 I paid for the Balsarini grille...only to receive something fiberglass that wasnt even fully gel coated. Good thing I am done with the car!

Seen this done by just sanding down the letters and using the chrome vinyl. Couldn't even tell the difference.
