Car is at the shop and was told that I need a new radiator, I wanted to know if the ebay radiators are ok, or would buying a used radiator be better. I have search and have not seen thread about radiators for Y34s so I guessing its not a common issue and they last long but I wanted to know what you guys feel would be better, the new (ebay) aftermarket or used?

What are the prices you're seeing? I would rather buy a new radiator as used ones might be bumped around a little to much during removal(e.g. damaging the cooling fins). Add that to the uncertainty of what damage might have been prior.
In my research replacing a couple of nissan/infiniti radiators, I think I found most aftermarket rads to be of the same quality. I have had good experience with TYC and KOYO radiators.
Ya know, unless you can get a used one for dirt cheap

for used I saw one used $45 plus shipping. On ebay I saw for about 60$ brand new after market but I just wasn't sure of the quality

I guess the TYC would be the best option?

My goodness, 60 - 100 bucks for a brand new radiator for a 2003 M45!? Please buy a new one. I feel like I should also buy one just because. I never thought I'd get any y34-specific equipment cheaper than I would for a more common model like a Maxima.
In my opinion, TYC is good, but you can't beat $60 shipped with lifetime warranty, as in your 2nd link. The seller does not have as much feedback as the other 2 eBay links, but it's gotta mean something when sellers are willing to stand behind their products for that long, right? I also like the drain plug they offer, it's got a good handle that unlike the regular plug that could strip easily during removal.

370z mishimoto rad fits but barely and needs alot of work to fit without messing stuff up. Not sure if I could have tried using the stock hydraulic fan, but I took it it and put a spal electric fan in. After my motor died due to spun bearing( took it out before any catastrophic dmg) the stock radiator was also partially clogged and I was appalled by the small size of the stock radiator. Now I could track my car if I wanted.
perhaps another aluminum radiator for the 370z would fit.

Ya know, come to think of it I think I saw in one of the manuals that the y34s came with 2 radiator types. Supposedly there was also a sports model in those 2 years... so maybe someone out there has a properly-sized all-aluminum radiator.

Interested in knowing how the electric fan is wired/triggered

Hmmm ... I'd avoid used radiators ... this is the last place where you want an internal blockage or a leak, etc.

New ones are relatively inexpensive and well worth it.

Didn't know anyone responded after my last post, thanks for the input. I ended up going with the with the TYC for about 85$ shipped. After my mechanic put the radiator in, every time I hit the gas, the fan comes on. Its not overheating but the fan stays on and gets louder literally every time I hit the gas. I ended up bringing it to the Infiniti dealership and let them check, they are telling me that the TYC radiator that I have installed doesn't have the temp sensor that the stock radiators have and it can't tell what the temperate is so it is causing the fan to be on all of the time. Has anyone heard of this before? If so is there anyway I can take the temp sensor off the stock radiator and use it on the new one? I spoke with the ebay seller he said he will refund my money and to just send it back but I want to see if there is anything I can do before I do that

Unfortunately I doubt there's anything else to do for now. The rad in your second link is pretty cheap and seems to have the port for the sensor already. I'd just buy a new rad instead of spending the time & effort to tap the old sensor into a high pressure system.
