I don't know if they have them in size for your car, but you can also checkout http://www.irotors.com. I have purchased Bradi (sister company to Bembo) cross-drilled and slotted disks from them in the past. They can also provide Zinc plating (prevents rust) ...

Seriously consider Jason's rotors... Burtman has a great product, and you really can't beat the price. Be very weary of ebay... a lot of the stuff you buy there might seem like a great deal... but tin doesn't stop a car very well.

The only other option I've even seen would be the Brembo rotors but they're a little more expensive... unless you want to go with a big brake kit... then you're spending 10x what Jason's cost and the brakes on our cars are pretty good as they are.

The only BAD thing to come out of Drilled rotors is some times they tend to form hair line cracks around the drill holes when the brakes are under high heat... You wont be pushing your M's brakes that hard, so you will live... Another thing is a small rock getting into one of the holes and causing a noise...

OE rotors are not that expensive... Stop Tech drilled rotors will be a bit more than stock rotors... I have been very happy with the stop tech rotor materials... They are also available slotted or blank...

Interested in a GB on Drilled Rotors for the M with pads?

Hello,I might be wrong, but, I believe there is a Brembo kit for the 02-06 Q45. If so, it should work with little or no modification. It is hideously expensive though. However, if you think you are in it for the long haul, money well spent.Good LuckM.L***coulda, shoulda read your post lswaidz more carefully such that you posted the same thing. So let me echo the refrain.***

I had a Brembo kit on my Trans Am, and it was perfect for autocrossing and hard stops when street racing, however I don't know how much RELATIVE performance gain you'd get with the M. I'd sooner spend the $3k on a supercharger kit. but that's just me.

If you refuse to go to eBay for, as you put it, such a "critical part", then do yourself a favor and go to:

http://www.frozenrotors.com.

These are cyogenically treated and THE BEST BRAKE ROTORS IN THE WORLD!!!! No matter what vehicle you have. They will last an eternity on a street car and your brake pads will also last forever.

In RACE APPLICATIONS, they still last FOREVER!!!!!

I don't car what kind of coating other companies use. They don't stack up to the durability and longevity......PERIOD!

Mine didn't come in black, that's for sure. Maybe he meant the pads? One thing I will say is Jason takes sometime, but every set of rotors is custom cut, so it's not just pulled off the parts shelf. Worth the wait, and the money. You will feel some weird vibrations at first... well, more like a grinding... it's normal though. It's especially evident under hard braking. However, if you drive any other car w/ drilled rotors it's completely normal.
