Y34 almost stalling at start.

Was wondering if those of you who are more mechanically inclined could help me. Recently noticed when I start my car that the RPM will flutter to zero almost stalling. Only happens for less than 5 seconds. Already have taken to my dealer to have the idle reset, but did not solve the problem. I don't know if this is related, but have noticed that at times my brake pedal feels stiff, like there is very little brake assist. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
