Y34 03-04 M45 Hood Alignment Issues

I used a deep socket with no issues.

I ended up loosening the two fender bolts nearest to the hinge and that allowed just enough room to drop a deep-socket in there to pull the bolts out. For the rear bolt, I used a ratcheting wrench.

maaan even my ride starting acting up just this week and its killing me.tried greasing it and its now easy to move but the gap is still there.will try and remove it and work on it a bit,make the bend angle on the strut more acute...if that fails then il buy a new hinge set for both sides
