Y33 Washer Fluid Light ON!

I was doing routine fluid check under the hood, and noticed the washer fluid was done, I don't really use it but thought why not, and filled it up to the max level. AFTER I filled up the tank the washer fluid light came on and it won't go off. Before when it was empty, the light wasn't on.

What could it be?

there is just a little switch thats hooked into the washer tank... Most likely the switch is stuck and needs to be removed and cleaned so it moves freely, or you could just unplug the connector and the light will go off..

I would try taking a turkey baster and emptying the wiper/washer fluid back into the container. Then locate the sensor in the tank and make sure it moves freely. Refill the tank half way with washer fluid, and then check to see if the light is on. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys. it was just the stuck sensor. Phew, one less light on the dash
