Yeah i'm more so the performance-minded person , like Falk I like driving my Q at high speeds, it's wrong but it feels so right But than again, I did just change my shocks in Nov. and my struts in Feb. So I think most likely I'll wait. I was thinking of JIC coilovers but have heard too much 50/50 arguments. I believe Dorimon is waiting on his to come in, i'll wait and see how he likes them first.BadQ45t wrote:I paid for them in late feb and got them in early may, I think that is about what you'll have to wait.
If you're a performance-minded person, you should talk to these guys and get a set. If you're an easy rider and don't drive "spirited" than just order a set of OEM's from Scotsdale Infiniti (it will be way cheaper than local).
Turns out that the computer lists them but that they (aftermarket struts) don't actually exist.bullittandy wrote:The local Goodyear place has replacement strut cartridges for about $50 a piece versus $150 at the dealer. Anybody replaced their Y33 struts with aftermarket?
20? I think that's the undershot of the decade.Falkdesigns wrote:Well, if you "think" about it, I've sold a dozen sets of TEIN springs, and have 7 more on the way, so that's almost 20. Not exactly Honda Civic numbers, but still a decent number of Y33's. Kinda funny actually, there are probably less than 20 modded Y33 Q45's in the whole country. I think $650 is very fair, for the quality of product and how difficult they are to get.
