1997 Q45 4.1L
Planning to drop rear subframe to replace struts and diff carrier bushings. Will 240sx subframe bushings fit on the Y33? The entire rear suspension is the same from a 240sx if I am not mistaken.

Thinking about getting Energy # 7.1117 for subframe. Will these mounts work on the Y33?

For the differential I've purchased Energy bushing kit # 7.1118G for 240sx.

the diff bushings that go into the subframe were a PAIN. Had to use a friend along with wooden blocks and a huge C clamp to get those in. I think I may have froze them before too? Burning out the subframe bushings will your most likely path. I luckily didn't have to do mine even though I thought they may be worn/cracked. Good luck

Thanks for the link. Probably looking to get some suspension bushings as well. Not sure if I should suspect the subframe bushings but they need to be on hand for this...
The carrier looks like a pain in the a** from this youtube vid on an S14.

I removed them while the subframe was still bolted on the car so off will be easy. Patience will do you well

Dropped the subframe to replace the diff bushings yesterday. Not too bad when you can use a torch, sawzall, and sledge on the rear bushings. Installed Energy kit # 7.1118G using plenty of lube and a C clamp. No more *clunk* on tip-in throttle. Feels really good.
At the same time I replaced the rear struts with KYB NSG9069. What a difference! Great body control.

Had some confusion on the hardware for the front bushings. Kept the OE washers, put the big one through the RIGHT HAND side of the diff.
