Modern fuel injected engines can handle about 20 H/P per cylinder before you have to make structural changes to the engine. ZEX Nitrous kits recommend 4 degrees of timing be pulled at 100 H/P shot and no timing pulled at 50 HP. I would recommend the ZEX kit for ease of install and use, as well as the fact that's its a dry kit.

I think 75 H/P would be no problem with 93 octane and nothing else changed-but then agian it ain't my engine

Id run a 75 wet... No way I'd throw a dry shot on their even with a rising rate FPR....

I hate nitrous... its like cheating and its like drugs.. Its always fun while it lasts!

thank you WES thats what i needed to hear!!! and ya the whole Dry thing i read alot too many people have blown their engines on that Shiii t and as of now the nos is going to be used only for the big mouthed people that come around in their cars... i dont know them they dont know me just a simple quicky to get by... like today on the freeway this coupe G35 cut me off and he was going 110 i go next to him at 110 and he starts gunning it and i go after i took him by 3 cars at 150ish and just hazard lit him and went my way and he went his so now on the flip side lets say that was the new 335i or the G37 i would need some juice... and plus i want to take my car to the drag and get an actual drag time on it so i know where i stand... off start most Qz are crap but after 50mph the Q wakes up...

I doubt that G35 was going all out.. At most speeds a G35 will rock a G50, and above 60 a G50 should SMOKE a Y33...

60-120 time for a G50 is about 11 seconds, for a Y33 its about 18 (I have video proof)

Yeah,I dont think the 1999 q would hit 150mph either....maybe downhill,a really long hill..g35 would wipe it up,story is BS

I raced a G35 on the highway and from a stop. on the highway it was from like 80 and I got stuck in a bad place (screamin in 2nd or just 3rd).. from 60 might have been closer. He was perfect in 4th gear at that point (was a 5AT) and pulled away from me... Theyre fast cars, and the extra gear makes all the difference in the world...

I ran a G35 coupe 0-80 from a stop light, I dont know if he was going all out because he was pretty close.. Maybe it would have been about right since those do about 14.2, my Q should do high 14s and he had me by a half car length... He got the edge on me and then i started gaining on him.

the G35s start to run out of breath it seems at about 120, so G50 vs G35 0-150 would be an interesting race...

im running open box style intake with the ram air still in place it was a 03 coupe he might have not given it his all but i took him when i was hittin 135 and my friend has a 03 sedan and before he modded it i was only 2 cars slower off take off him alone in his car and i had 2 200 pound passengers.... but at 100 i was right next to him and i have taken him on the freeway and also shiiiit if you guys dont beleave me ill take a video next time dont call me a Bser.... and yes the place we did it was a slight downhill than you can do 70mph just on nuteral and it stretches for 3 miles... if its going to be like that ill take videos of me doing 0-100 and 100-150 i have a done 150 a couple of times in my Q and yes in a Y33 im not a huge fan of that speed because i have lot of body roll and my tires suck... with the wear and tear of the VH45DE god knows how much compression you guys have lost mine is at least 4 years younger than most of yours... i dont know but i will proove you guys no problem!

wes is right, the Y33 is pretty slow.He must have felt sorry for you! My nitrous is pretty worthless over 80.Off the line it really jumps. G35, no problem! Y33, get serious!

Not to start a piss match, but tech's G50 still has compression in spec at operating temperature at 320k miles... not bad!

Ive got some vids of the Y33 I drove, we took it to 120.. A very climactic experience, I didnt think it was gonna make it...

Ruber... interesting about the nitrous, i figured it'd be pretty useless at those speeds... Nitrous sucks!!

Hmm, wonder what mine will do the 60-120 in? I'll be at full boost almost immediately at that speed. I'll have to boot up the Nissan Data Scan and log it...once I get the thing on the road again that is

Oh, and Gammer. I'm not gonna debate the validity of your claims but I will say that if your tires really do suck as you say, please don't go 150 mph. Downhill or whatever, you are asking for trouble. We don't want to read your obituary in the papers. Keep the racing on the track please.

Lastly, use the NOS at your own risk. My 2nd Q's quite messed up from NOS. Apparently if you get the intake system/airbox full of NOS and then push on the accelerator it likes to explode...

Yes, at higher speeds really useless. But at 10-15 mphit's nuts! It really takes off at lower speeds. If I get tractionit launches! As far as risk, eventually I'm gonna tear something up!
