What is this little adjustment screw? What does it do? You know, the thing that sticks up through the engine cover. Its circular and black.

Heyyyyyy...How come you guys have Bolt-on Turbos; I only have cam and ECU. I need to get busy with typing.

Can't turn that boost controller too high. Too much boost will smoke the stock internals.

so, i guess i have to be the paaahty pooopuh. now that we all agree that it's the base idle adjust screw...you shouldn't [have to] mess with it. the iacv, aac, whatever you wanna call it should take care of all idle compensation as long as your intake is clean.

After cleaning the throttle body a while ago, I turned the idle speed adjustment screw all the way down. It was nice to see the idle speed was down to 500 RPM at stop light, and the engine was still smooth. I turned it back up a few weeks later, to factory spec of 650 +/- 50 RPM.

Interesting I was wondering that too when I was just under the head a few days ago. Figured it had to do something with idle speed.
