Well, don't get too excited yet - this is all kind of theoretical.
I need to get an ECU connector from a Y33. I'll call around some junkyards tomorrow.
Then I need to design a custom board to replace the processor in the ECU.
Then I need to desolder the processor and install it on the custom board.
Then I have to rewrite some of the ECU's internal code to access the memory I place on the board.
THEN I have to find someone with a Y33 who will let me tune it.
THEN I have to find enough people to pay enough $ for it to make the whole thing worth while.
I still haven't gotten to step 1...
This may end up being just plain too expensive, but I will certainly keep people posted.
The Y33 stuff does come after the late G50, and after the TCU reprogramming.
