It’s been a long time, my last post was in 2013.

I have some questions for the experts that I hope are still in here, this was the best forum for information back when I was active here. I am not new at this, I know the RB engines and trans upside down and backwards. But have only done RWD stuff.

I bought a 1997 Y33 Gloria RB25DET and am of course curious about a manual swap. Would like to retain the AWD. Can I use an R32 GTR trans? Or an R34 GTS AWD trans? Will the shifter come out in the right location?

The clutch and brake pedal boxes appear same as S14, correct me if I’m wrong. Idk if the holes are there in the Gloria body but I could drill them in easily.

I’m not familiar with the front struts and suspension. Someone said Maxima?

Does the ECU contain a 28 pin chip or is it the pain in the a** square chip? What is the popular standalone people use now? Must support auto trans at least for now. AEM EMS do not appear available anymore?

Please move if needed. Yes I have searched but I believe the bulk of posts on this site are from 2004-2014 and a lot of the information isn’t correct anymore or even worse, was incorrect back then. (Remember when people used to recommend head spacers to lower compression? Good times)
