Only the FGY33 had the VH41DE that has the problems with the coil packs.

The Y33 never came with the VH41DE.

Read through the Sticky. Lots of good info. I am going to likely purchase a 97 Q45t tonight w/ 111xxx miles. It is dirty and has some minor scrapes/dings on the car, interior is filthy, the driver seat and left front leather armrest are a bit rough, ie. the leather is cracked, rubbed off. The owner told me that the car has a rebuilt transmission w/ less than 3xxx miles. The left front strut is knocking/tapping, will need to be replaced. He is at $2500. There is also a bad knock sensor. Good buy or not? It seemed to run pretty good when I test drove it.

(2000 Q45) Noticed when i pulled of the Air intake line at the Throttle Body the rubber Flanged wide o-ring that goes around the TB was cracked and falling apart this may cause some issues,

Got the TB o-ring today it is the called the "Air Tube Insulator" part #16523-31U00

Thank you willko1. I found the same problem with my 2000 Q45t. Now I know what to order. If that is cracked and allowing air to enter the engine then it is unmetered (not measured by the MAF) and screws up the computer trying to control the A/F mixture.

Where can I get a replacement I wonder it looks like you may have to buy the whole elbow to get the o-oring it is not shown in diagram. All I see is the clamp for part (Item 13) 2000 Q45 Base Resonator (http://www.infinitipartsusa.com/2000-In ... /21543.htm)

Assuming you are referring to the collar (no O-ring involved) that fits over the throttle body inlet but under the intake pipe, it is not shown on that page.

16523-31U00 is for the VQ30/35DE. But if it is the same size......?

It fit my 2000 q45 perfect and you right it was not on the parts diagram, I just asked Joe to send it and he did but I thought it would be under that diagram but your right its not?? maybe on the intake diagram that they don't have listed?

How about the plastic engine fan. Mine experienced cracks all over the place in the hub area. After looking at it, I knew it needed to be replaced immediately. I believe Wilko also had to replace the fan. It goes for about $100 for the fan, new. I wasn't about to get a used one after looking at mine.
