y33 engine question (help)

hello everyone!! i have a 99 y33 with 160,00 miles on it and try to stay on top of maintenance i have owned this car for 5 years and i get the oil changed every 3000 miles along with other regular maint now i dont drive this car everyday anymore maybe twice a week so today i decided to drive it and when i got home i noticed smoke coming from the hood on the passenger side when i popped the hood i noticed that it was coming from the engine block and dried up oil was on the side with a little oil dripping down to the exhaust manifold to the ground now i am wondering what could be the cause of this is the engine done or am i looking at a major fix ie big $$ the car was not running hot and the check engine light had not gone of i checked the oil and it seemed to be fine right now i am not that much of a mech but i know the basics so can anyone clue me in on what i may be looking at thank you all in advance oh and today was the first time i drove the car in about 2 weeks if that matters at all

Probably just rocker (valve) covers. No big deal as long as you don't let it go on forever.

It should be about $600 to have it done at http://www.t3auto.com (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you don't want to do it yourself) or less than $100 for parts from http://www.everythinginfiniti.com if you want to do it yourself.

thx 4 ur response after doing some further research on this site i think that the valve cover gaskets need replacing any idea how much that will cost me?

Trust me, I know about this . It is your valve cover gaskets leaking. I just purchased my gaskets from Joe at everythinginfiniti.com. It cost $45 with shipping!! They are $25/piece from actual dealer. Tulsa Infiniti price quote was $486.

thx guys 4 the response i called t3 today ima go ahead and get this taken of next week b4 it gets any worse !! so the car will sit until then and i also will get the spark plugs done at the same time
