Hey everyone, first post. I got my 97 Cima a few months back and my first upgrade was to change out all the 27 year old speakers. F/R doors were no different than any other car but it looks like in order to do the rears I'll have to remove the rear seats. This is where I'm stuck. I've done this on other cars but never with reclining seats. I've already figured out the vertical seat backs but not the bottom cusions. Any ideas?

For the rear deck you need to remove the rear seat for sure. I just did this. Comes down to removing lower seat, then back, then pop the c pillar covers, then lift and pull the parcel deck out. I wouldn't think the rear recline wouldn't be too different besides maybe some other bracing and electrical connectors.

It's completely different. My Y34 seats came out easily but not these. The top piece is similar but there's no pull tabs under the bottom cusion.
