Hi Guys,

What is the opinion on the causes of negative camber on front wheel on the Y33?

Situation: Driving down a lonely dimly lit road and outta nowhere a curb jumps out of the bushes and places itself under my drivers side wheel.

Outcome: Blown tire and a wheel that now has neg camber.

I'm already in the process of obtaining replacement struts upfront but what exactly bent out of shape is what's perplexing me. A bit more details -The affected wheel, more importantly the tire itself, was rubbing against the upper vertical section and under the spring seat on the strut.

Other than that all else looks fine visually. Strut bent? Knuckle bent? All comments are appreciated.

Going about 25-30 mph when it happened.

I would think transverse link and tension rod if not strut body and mounts?what does top of tower under hood look like, any tearing or creases not on driverside?

Kinda hard to see 1/16" out of spec bends, measure everything with precision.

Make sure the subframe is not damaged.

That was my thoughts but everything "looked" alright.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll check a little closer in those areas. Just hope its not the upper shock mounting area. Seems like it would be murder to get right if that's what warped on me.
