I wanna drop it lower but any lower and it will start to scrape my front bumper lip.

my driveway is just too narrow and steep.

I have about a loose half inch to 3/4 inch clearance right now from my bumper lip to the pavement. It will be about 3/4" lower once I remove the rubber spring boosters in the front.

you see where I'm getting at right ?

So in a desire to be ohh so low, you're gonna give up your one of a kind kit? I don't get it. Being low isn't everything man. I know for whatever reason, US VIP heads think it is, but I gurantee it's not the case over in J-land. The WISE sports Cima on my desktop isn't even as low as yours or mine they way they sit now, but I'm sure over here people would say "it could be lower".

Anyhow, good luck with the sale, someone will luck out bigtime on all your work!

yo keviin, thanks for the heads up. I totally hear you.

it's just that a bit more drop would give it all the difference in the world.

but chances are I will be keeping the kit. I still haven't actually tested it without my rubber spring boosters and my 224 40 19 tires.

I'm really not sure, I don't have any info on it, just had the pic for a couple years and always thought it looked $$$.

Front needs to be an inch lower though

Why not just get a block of wood and be done with it?

At least the block of wood might be somewhat useful.

Why do these people hate cars so much?

Why does someone hate a car because they have a vision of what they want it to be like? I want my car to be lower too! Not sure how I'm gonna do it, but it will be lower soon. And I definitely don't hate my car.

Why would you go any lower Kevin? I don't think your wheels could fit any better in the wheel wells than they do now.

IMO Tucking is just gay.

Well, the rims are flush with the fenders, so they wouldn't tuck, but I would like to have no fender gap at all.

Bags are widely used for vip platforms and definitely not poser IMO.

Yeah, they're widely used, PhotoShop can achieve the same results.

True Stance is my motto, if you don't actually drive it that low, you're posing. Whatever height I settle at will be the height I drive it.

I gota agree. It should look just as good going down the highway @ 70 than it does parked.

Does air even improve handeling at all? I would think it would be worse.

I was thinking it would help him get over surfaces that his driving hight couldn't traverse

Air is wonderful, I'd go for it but IMHO it just doesn't make sense for me to get it.

one thing I really dis-like is having the airtank and all the hardware associated in the trunk. I really don't want to see all that, and not to mention what I would do if it were to break down.

I love it when VIP and poser are used in the same context!!! OH the irony!

Well... you could always buy a Q45a... then all you have to do is hit the "height" setting and pop your car up another inch to clear whatever.

just to update, I removed the rubber spring boosters and it lowered it about half an inch and that half an inch made it PERFECT, one finger gap.

however It did not clear my driveway so I re-inserted the coil spring boosters.

I'll tell ya guys, that half an inch make a WORLD of difference. It just tightens up the look.

So what is the total drop from stock with the boosters off?

without the spring boosters, the distance between my fender to my wheel is 3.25" inch (with 19" wheels) .

I'm not sure what the total drop was compared to my stock springs, I'd say over 2 inches of drop.
