Bought some Y32 supposedly Y33 JIC SA 1 coil overs for about 390 shipped for my 2000 Q45 (CORRECTED). The rear fit fine but the front spindle do not line up with the rotors.

What do I need to do to make this work? Any options? Need help asap...car is currently in the shop for UAS on coil setup.

will a r32/z32 loaded convert for the y32.

No such thing as a "USDM Y33" as neither the Gloria nor the Cedric were imported here. Only Cima FY33 was exported and known here as the FGY33 1997-2001 Q45 with many less options and only the VH41DE, which was never availble in the Y33. Hence, not all suspension modifications for the Y33 fit nor are they all appropriate for the FGY33.

JIC is the low cost manufacturer of coil-over assemeblies, and their product and customer support reflect this.

you wont be able to use the Z or R32 stuff because that uses a multilink suspension not a mcpherson setup like the FGY33..

so, you ended up getting them to work. What did you end up going with?

i didnt get them to work, i just mounted my UA bags over the stocks for now and purchased some FLT TAR Y33 cima specific coil overs. Kind of bummed me out considering I waited to purchase everything before I started my build, so without suspension not much you can do

ie:custom body kit,a/s fenders,ls460 fogsleon hardiritt Orden black w/ anodized lip 19x9 -5 19x10 -6s14 Rear lower control armsS13 toe and tensionJIC SA-1 y32 cedric/gloria (WRONG) (Wife is Japanese and completely screwed up on this one) paid 390 shipped UAS w/digital sendersJP type III Exhaust

so having to purchase some more coils is dipping into my accessories funds. So hopefully i can get a decent drop with the stock until my other coils arrive

blk on blk Y33

Now my question is? what could these go on if the original setup is for a y32 cedric/gloria-the rears work just fine on my 2000 q45

So what specific problems did you have? Was it the brake caliper bolts not fitting?

^ Yes, what you have to do is upgrade to 300z/Skyline brake s and your good to go. I will post up when I finish the install. Right now I have other priorities...
