My stock Ka24de is runnin so rich besides, "the 3" pipe and intake" that sit's in a 96' body style 240. BUT, i bought some other KA for 500 with 80'000 on it, installed a new pcv valve before i dropped it in. After the other KA blew...the only difference i found was that the harness for the emission's hook up on the KA motor i bought was not there and on my harness it's there jus not no connection for it anymore, on this other KA motor, mayb it's a 94 or a 95 KA "i dont know" , but i dont think jus cause this connection is not there for this motor, that this would create it to run so rich, smelly,&backfirey so damn much...MAYB a adjustabe fuel pressure regulator could solve this rich runnin problem

First have your fuel pressure regulator checked out.

Then if not:Maybe you have a bad MAFS.Maybe your computer is bad, maybe your oxygen sensor(s) are going bad.Maybe you have something going on with the ignition system or your injectors.
