Here is Racingline's response (1/30/2008) from an e-mail I sent them,

"a new sample is on it's way back from the welders as we were not happy with the results from the first sample. The y merger was not up to par in our opinion so we had the bender/welder make up a new sample. That sample should be ready next week and dyno again soon after. Production should still roll out sometime next month.

Thanks,

Joe

I am getting impatient as well even though I am not looking forward to the frostbite inducing install on my driveway...

hhmm well at least they are taking care of R&D properly, as to be expected from a company like racingline.

i feel like i've been waiting forever, but take your time if it means a higher quality part fellas, no quarrels there

Just have patience guys, I think you all want extra power from the y-pipe and that's what racingline is trying to give you, your monies worth.

Good point, I won't pay if it's not worth it. Glad they are doing their due diligence.

Guess I am still caught up in the whole pre-economic downturn instant gratification game...
