Until I saw this thread, I'd never even heard of the Exa--it's not a model that's sold here in the US. NICO is mainly a North American forum, so our focus is on NA market models. That doesn't mean we won't try to help you out, though. We've got members all over the world. You might try posting in the International Regional forum to see if any of your fellow Aussie members can help you with any problems. Meanwhile, there's always this forum.

Do you have any pictures of your Exa? We're always interested in seeing/hearing about new (to us, at least) Nissans.

Welcome to NICO, by the way!

I know what s3xyexa06 is talking about. I used to love those cars (but I never knew the name of it) when I was little...don't even know why. They're rare nowadays and I havent seen one since I moved from NY (been 3 years). I think they're also called the Solaire. Nissan produced a coupe, I believe a version with a targa and a weird looking boxy hatch/wagon.

Anyways here's the coupe version. (My fav)

Ahh, so it's the old Pulsar NX. I guess they are sold here...just under a different name. I loved the wagon version. I knew a girl in high school who had a hatch (coupe, non-wagon).

That's exactly why I like the wagon so much. They're just so damn bizarre looking. Plus they've got to be awesome grocery getters with all that storage space. And the idea of a convertible wagon/notchback is just freaking awesome. Also, the wagon looks MUCH better in dark colors, because it hides the wierd window angles of the back a bit better. Where I used to live in my old apartment, there was a black wagon I'd see every once in a while that had some good wheels and a nice paint job. I liked it a lot.

Was recently talking about said car and how cool it is w/ Sky as she has a friend with one and the pic in her sig is actually from the SportBak (the real name of the "hatch/wagon").

Pulsar's are cool as hell, and you gotta love the CA. (only half-sarcastic there, lol)Old friend/roommate/NICO member BoyWonder had one we were dead set on making it into one of the few AWD Pulsars here in the states. Turns out the mom of the guy who owned the house we were at...is insane. So we moved out (me to HI, him to RI) and the car was left behind, as he had his S13 convertible. Sucks. =\ But oh the good ol' days...
