So here's some teaser pics/ test fit pics. Just picked these up today. Still need to get lug nuts and tires that don't have the belts showing through. Anyways, here are the pics.

I think once it's down and cambered in, it'll flush out just about perfectly.

I was thinking about powdercoating them bronze or gold, but I think the black looks good. It's actually a black with gold flake. So what do you guys think? Not bad for $450 huh?

Looks good! Same wheels I've got :bigthumb: I have the silver mesh with the polished lip though! I vote bronze finish. Make sure to order some spacers for the fronts lol...

They're the same wheel all the way around. I'm gonna try for a square setup. We'll see how that goes, haha.

I'll try to snag some pics in the sunlight next time I'm at my storage unit.

Hi I'm new to the forum. I was looking around for pics of Z's with XXR 521's and came across yours. First off let me say your Z looks sick with those rims. Secondlly could you post up some more info and pics on what size and brand of tires you are running. I'm looking into a buying a set but i'm unsure of tire sizes, and also offsets, so your info will help me.

The tires on those wheels currently aren't staying on. These are 215/35/18 I'm pretty sure. I'll have to double check that, as the wheels are in my storage unit, and I'm gonna be getting (much) wider tires.

Also, welcome to NICO!

Thanks for the welcome. I've been looking at all sorts of setups, trying to figure how to obtain the look I like, and by no means am I an expert. After surfing around, I'm under the impression that most 18x10"+35 wide rims take a
265-275 tire, at the most a 285 (but with the 285"s you may have to roll your fender's, depending on the tire, rim offset and suspension).

You nailed it. Most aggressive setups are going to require a roll. Really aggressive setups may require either a lot of camber or a pull. If you want some good ideas of how certain setups will look, check out http://www.rimtuck.com. they have spec sheets, tons of pics, and tire sizes as well.

+35 is a pretty high offset for the z32, btw. I'd make sure you'll clear brake calipers if that's the size you wanna go with.

LOL Money suddenly became tight. But I actually was planning an update, as my tax money from last year AND this year BOTH just came back in. :gapteeth:

New exhaust, velocity stacks, and carburetor jets for the Honda, new forks and fairings for the GSX-R, and new tires for the car! Awwwwww yeaaaahhhhhh!

Did you have to use spacers on the back rims and roll the fenders any?

Roll, yes. Spacers on rear, no.
