You requested pictures of the vehicle. I've had some issues getting single photos to post, so here is the link to our photo gallery;

We run the "BEST in the DESERT" series, mostly in Nevada. Next race is the world famous Vegas to Reno.

Have you run this in events yet? If so, how has it performed?

Yes, we made our debut in April 06. Broke both front A-arms 141 miles into the race. Also had ECU problems that caused us to have to run in "LIMP" mode. The final 3 races of 06 I was protested by FORD for illegal front A-arms and did not get to run in my class. I had to go run against the open classes. I still managed a second place finish at the Las Vegas 300.

We started this year out with a 3rd place at the Parker 425. we broke 2 rear ends and 1 front end to end our day. Only 1 out of 5 starters in our class finished the race. We went 3rd farthest.

April this year we ran the TerriblesTown 250 finishing 3rd there. Lead for a while then broke a steering shaft u-joint. Followed by a rear spring shackle and 3 flats. We still came back for a podium finish dispite those problems.We set in third place for the class point battle, Vegas to Reno is a double point race so I can still win the series.

Sounds like you have had some heartache with bitter-sweet results at this point. Are you running in the stock class? I pulled open the rule book but was not sure which class you are in. From what I can tell via pix, the truck is relatively stock with a rollcage and minor suspension enhancements?

Sounds like the Ford guys can be douches

I race in class 3100. Stock Midsize SUV. I am only allowed to change spring rates and relocate shocks within restricted locations. Max of 2 shocks per wheel. Then the cage and fuel cell etc. for safety.

Nice stuff, David!

I wish I had known of you guys a month ago, we could have done something like what we did for Team HLM: http://www.G35GT.com

I'm not too far from Parker, might be worth the drive to come out and see an event.

This would make an awesome homepage article, in case you're ever interested in working with us to whip something up!

Yeah! We would love to do that. I've got some great things happening. I think this team is getting ready to break loose. I still need to make that conection with a major sponsor. PM me and lets get it going.

Thanks,Dave Blakely (XterraRacer)
