Xterra engine replacement

I need to know if a 240sx longblock will swap into a 2002 Xterra (that came with a KA24DE).

nope. the xterra/frontier engines are essentially a SOHC block with a DOHC head it has DE features like bearing girdle and piston squirters. You would have better luck finding a 240sx SOHC and swapping the frontier stuff over. Or you can get the DE you found and make the front sump pan try an clear the xterras steering arms. come to think of it! it might actually have better clearance since its a 4x4 most likely. Long as you dont have to worry about clearance issues with the front diff. peace.
