I don't trust any clutch whose holding capacity is rated in horsepower. Torque is all that matters for frictional holding.

It's just a 240z clutch, that he is selling as a 240sx clutch. I am running one, they bite well, but you can get one from advance with a warrantee for around $100.

That 'stage 3' is not what I meant, but their stage 1 is the Z clutch.

Apparently those clutches (or at least the clutch cover) are made by Exedy. Why Exedy would be reselling their product under an off-brand name is beyond me, but some dude on Zilvia had a pic of one and you can clearly see "Exedy" stamped into the pressure plate.

Here's a link:http://www.zilvia.net/f/showth...exedy

That's good to know, when I burn through my Z clutch (the downside to using it is that it only lasts about 15K mi, luckily they are easy to change). I will buy one. In fact, I have my trans down now, I may have to think about it when I get my financial aid check, and just resell my unused clutch.

I have the stage 3 in my 240sx... chatters a lot at low rpms, which makes stop and go kinda tricky, but it's standing up to plenty of abuse so far.

i dont know anything about this chatter, but thats because its hard not to jerk the **** outta the car when you launch, which im okay with. No, actually its not too bad.

i only got about 1500 miles on it before some ****-face hit my car, but i love it, and it has given me no problems even after way too many clutch kicks.

i didnt break it in either, i just dont slip it. im testing a theory that copper-ceramic clutches shouldnt be broekn in

I just have a had time believing that I can get a high performance clutch and pressure plate for $150. Sounds too good to be true.

Drove it again after sitting the winter. Still a great clutch. I just need polyurathane engine/transmission mounts and we will see how it drifts. Events are coming up soon.

I have one in my boosted CRX for about a year now, and belive me you when I tell you I beat on that thing. And so far no problems at all. I don't know if that helps any. But I also am getting one for my 240
