Okay, So I go to install my clutch and the alignment tool is loose as hell in the end of the crank. The alignment tool is stepped, and the end of it is too small. The next step is the inside diameter of the pilot bushing. I must be doing something wrong.

BTW, RB20DET, XTD Stage 2 clutch, Cusco Chromoly Flywheel

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

might possibly be the wrong alignment tool... you did place a pilot bushing into the crank right?

I'm the guy that has emailed you several times starting in february. i am finally getting off my lazy *** and getting this swap done.

Yep get a nissan one. I have put 3 spec clutches in nissans. One kit had the wrong disk. Both alighment tools were loose. I just wiggled them around till I found what looked like center then tightend the pressure plate down. Then I slid the tool back in there to see if it went back into the pilot with ez. I never had any problem getting the trans to bolt back up. Make shure you slide the new disk on the imput shaft to make shure it has the correct splines. This cost me a week on one engine I was trying to put in. I was also ready to shoot somebody. O well now I learned and I have os gikens for both my rb swaps. Some people just use tapered end deep sockets to align the disk.
