XS Power turbo
I was looking at some turbos on ebay and came across the a turbo by xs power and I was wondering if these turbos are worth anything. I mean I know its ebay and you get what you pay for but im just curious. Im not used to seeing a t3 turbo go for such a low price. So if anyone can fill me in I would be greatful. Thanks again.
xs power is the same company as ss autochrome...
i have one of their turbo's, it works great.
true you get what you pay for but it is great for a low budget/power application. you can put together a kit from ssautochrome/xspower, or buy one of their pre assembled kits for about $800 shipped, and then get everything else and have a turbo ka for about $1400, maybe $1500 (fmu, intercooler, ic piping, and exhaust among other things as long as you're doing the work...)
some people claim you get lucky or unlucky with them... like maybe you get something good, maybe you get something bad, but i can't comment on that. all i can tell you is my experience, which has been fine. oh but do not expect ANY customer service of any kind whatsoever. i have emailed them about 10 times and never heard a response from anything. they are only interested in your money... once they have that then you're on your own.
if you don't know that much about all of this stuff, true you can ask here and get great responses and feedback and all, but the sponsors here and other companys sell good kits and have great customer assistance/feedback... boost designs, is very highly acclaimed around these parts, as are many other custom fabricators that post up here. if you're looking for more power these are the guys to deal with. higher price, but like you said you get what you pay for.
