Some of you may have seen that I also posted this on 240sxforums but I figured I'd post it over here too just incase some didn't see it.

Well installed a power XS tubular manifold on my CA18DET today. At first I was very worried because it would not clear anything to be installed. So it took me 3 hours to install. Your time should be less because i'm gonna tell you what you have to do to get it in.

1. Unbolt the master cylinder and let it be pushed towards the drivers side fender.2. Remove power steering pump and bracket (manifold won't clear the bracket i'm going to modify my bracket later on)3. Saw off the stud on the drivers side motor mount that is unused (turbo hits it and will not let the manifold go on the studs without removal)

Then once the manifold is on, rebolt the master cylinder back up and take the ps pump out for now.

I did the complete installation from the top of the car. You can now get to the nuts very easily. The number 2 top stud you have to use a thinner washer than the factory one. The #2 runner and top stud have about a milimeter clearence from eachother once installed. Otherwise use all the factory washers and nuts on the manifold.

Have not driven it yet, but I will soon. I'm taking a break right now from the work. Still have to put on the hotpipe and a few other things. All in all though looks like it's gonna be good.

Greddy sr20det o2 housing and downpipe bolts up and goes to the stock position but will NOT bolt up to the stock cat. Thankfully my test pipe had flanges that rotated. I had to rotate about 20 degrees to make it bolt up. But now everything is back bolted up and ready to roll. Still haven't taken it out yet though. Will be doing that this weekend.

HMMM, mine bolts right up. Cleared the MC, motor mount (barely), and the PS pump. I've had it on and off 3/4 times w/o a problem. I can do it in about 1-1.5hrs.

that is strange. i'm using nismo SR motor mounts. maybe that has something to do with it. It may have cleared eventually but it was too close for comfort and i was scratching my painted valve covers up so i just unbolted the MC. no big deal at all on that. Sawing the stud was a little more of a pain. And the corner of the manifold flange dug into the ps bracket. I even removed the ps stuff, put the manifold on and tried to reinstall the bracket and it hit the manifold.

does your engine ride high(er) with those nismo sr mounts? mine sure does...i'd like to know how it (the car, manifold, etc.) does when you drive it. what kind of turbo are you using?

I dont know if it sits higher. I have plenty of clearance though. Still use a front strut tower brace. i am just using an sr t25. I did have a gtir t28 on it but kept having actuator issues. I'll let you know I've still not took the time to drive it anywhere yet.

Sorry to hijack but what problems did you have with actuator with the GTI-R T28??? Thanks.

never could get the angle right to make it stay closed. I tried the stock actuator, an hks actuator (which broke) and another aftermarket actuator. Never could get it to go above 10psi. Running 14.7 psi on the t25 now.
