I bought a XS power exhaust manifold for my SR20. I put it on there and after a month 2 of the 4 studs on the turbo inlet snapped off. This is the 2nd time that its done this in three months. Could the studs be snapping off because of my Cusco motor mounts or heat from the manifold, what do ya'll think?

Thanks

Maybe you're torquing the studs too much and after a while of heat and vibration they break. Is the manifold and dp braced properly? Are your exhaust hangers worn out?

exact specs, but I use an open ended wrench and tighten it real good but don't torwue it. Your dp should either have a bracket that you can bolt to the other side of the bracket on your transmission mount. If it doesn't have that then try to modify a stock one to work or something.
