I just bought a 95' 240sx a little over a month ago and i am going to get a turbo kit near the end of summer. I kno about the Fmax, Nsport, and xs engineering kits and ive heard a lot about the Fmax and Nsport kits but not so much about the xs engineering kit. I was really considering this kit but it seems not many of u have it. what r the pros and cons of this kit compared to the other two? I am looking for about 250 rwhp, will this kit be sufficient? I am also looking to upgrade to 550cc injectors, fuel pump, and regulator when i get the kit. will 550cc injectors get the job done or if u can go too large, are 550cc injectors too much? and help would be grateful. thanx.

Power output is about the same as an NSport Kit. Uses a similar fuel system, and turbo. Same manifold. The piping on the XS does double back. The biggest con about the XS kit was the divorced wastegate dumppipe. It's loud and sounds like crap under boost. It was a fairly easy fix to have the air routed back into the downpipe, but my downpipe is one of their early prototypes and replaces the stock cat. The current version keeps the stock cat from the looks of the downpipe.

If I were to buy a kit based on currently available kits, I'd go with the N-Sport. Big I/C and the piping is more direct. The downside is it uses a bosch BOV(DV) but there are plenty that you can replace it with, with little or no modification. All the kits use Deltagate wastegates AFAIK. Should work fine initially, but I'd keep an eye on it. Tends to start allowing boost spikes. TiAL makes a direct replacement for it that is much more reliable. F-Max(now Turbonetics) makes a good kit but they use a T3/T4 turbo. I prefer larger turbos. But they have been known to make 350 HP.

550 cc injectors are overkill if you are only looking for 250 HP. If you plan to boost more later though, doing it now would save you the hassle of buying another set later and having to tune your car with them. You will need a way to control the injectors though. What will you need a new regulator for? The stock one will work fine.

OK, i did a little more research and considered ur information and I think I will go with the NSport stage 1. If i were to get this kit what else would u recommend along with the kit? Such as wastgate, BOV, and maybe 370cc injectors since the 550 would be overkill? I dont want to make any crazy amounts of hp that would require replacing internals, just sumthing that i can have a lot of fun with. you said i would need sumthing to control the injectors? would a S-AFC do the job? thanx for the help.
