XM to Sirius

Postby italiansensation » Sat Oct 25, 2008 1:16 pm

hi guys,

i've spent some time searching through the forums for information on if its possible to have Sirius on my 2008 EX. I currently have a lifetime subscription to Sirius Canada and the vehicle comes installed with XM. With the joint ownership of XM & Sirius now, is it possible to transfer my Sirius account over to the XM hardware?

Hey italiansensation, welcome to NICOclub! Thanks for visiting the FX Forum!

I agree, you should call XM/Sirius and ask if you can do that. If your FX has Nav on it, you CANNOT simply switch the XM Tuner for a Sirius Tuner. On models WITH Nav, the XM Tuner is built into the Audio Conrol Unit.
