XM stations changing automatically on presets

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

if you have any XM stations set to your presets you may see them change. Sirius XM has a new channel lineup and some old channels went away. For instance Fine Tuning became some New Age station called 'Spa'.

I guess I'm in the minority because from reading the Internet lots of people are mad they removed most of the 'urban' stations. I couldn't be more happier. They also reduced the number of spanish stations down to 1.

Kinda sad though that some of my presets disappeared completely because they didn't replace anything on the channel. So you may see some presets disappear. For instance The System is gone and not replaced with anything.

You might want to browse through the channels again because previous channels that were off air (like XM 80) are now back with something else.

Oh and holiday music is now playing on 35.

How do you even set XM presets?

They did add the Met. Opera ch., which I realize is only important to opera fans.

All of my pre-sets either stayed the same, or just changed to the new channel name.......Ethel is now Alt Nation, Lucy is now Lithium. Just a couple of examples.

XM is free only the first three months, right? Like 302@12psi, I couldn't figure out how to set presets for XM. I keep listening to the Led Zeppelin station instead

I am confused as to why anyone has problems setting the pre-sets on XM, I don't understand, you program the XM pre-sets just like you program any radio station. Tune to the channel and hold down the pre-set you want to store it on. Am I missing something?

Your not missing anything that is how you set all of them for the a-b-c levels.

I really like the blending of the satellite providers I let my XM subscription run out a few years ago due to lack of interest and I am looking into getting it again I like the additional changes they have made to the rock line up.

XM and Serious officially merged this week. Many channels have changed or been renamed due to the merge.

after listening a while I can say that -for the most part- the channels were just renamed. Spa is basically Fine Tuning. Spectrum though used to be Starbucks XM Cafe and I'm really sad they they left and took their Hear Music library with them.

I was wondering why this happened. That was annoying now there are about 100 channels of the same news station.

at least the playlists on most stations have been refreshed. XM had been riding on the same playlists for about 2 months on one of my stations.

I noticed that the classical music stations were located at number 114. now when I use the preset it takes me to 75. i also found a holiday station channel 35 which is has all types of christmas music and channel 39 which is led zeppelin 24/7. I wonder when XM will increase their rates giving us all these new channels.

i'm probably not renewwing unless they continue to give me the $4 a month rate. the XM nav traffic is a joke around here so I don't use that at all.
