Hello--

We picked up a Versa 1.8 SL a few weeks ago, and so far, we've found one problem.

When the AUX input is in use (from an iPod or external satellite radio), turning on the headlights produces a noticeable interference buzz on the speakers. Flashing the brights with headlights off does NOT cause this problem, and I have a feeling the buzz is caused by the radio's backlight--which is turned on in tandem with the headlights.

Known issue? Something I should take back to the dealer? Something I can solve? Something I just have to put up with?

Thanks

matt

Take it to the dealer. I dont know of a particular fix yet, but I agree that the problem is caused by the backlight.

The input wire and the back light wire are "interfering" with one another. If under warranty then definitely dealer but it should be a simple fix, likely the wires are in contact/too close with one another.

Don't live with it.
