XM Radio Reception Magically Returns

While tuning some FM stations set in my pre sets yesterday I happened to accidently click on one of the XM stations that remained in my pre set "A" screen and magically they all played? I havent signed up for any service since my 3 month trial period ended last June even though I have received 3 mailings from XM to re activate my service. I am not complaining but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this magic re activation?

i have a pre-paid for 5 months but it has passed that period but my xm still works. i probably need to check my bank to see if they withdraw my money for another 5 months.

i just got a letter in the mail from them. They are activating it 17-30th....obviously a marketing drive to get people to ask for subscription cards for christmas.
