XM Radio question

Hi all. I'm a new Infiniti owner after just buying a used G35x last week and I love the car. I have an XM radio question though.
Is there a way to just scroll through different catagory channels? In my Acura I could set the catagory to rock and just fine tune through all the rock stations, I can't seem to do that on this radio. I couldn't find anything in the manual.

Welcome to NICO!!

I know when you push the track forward/backward buttons it moves the XM radio by category. Then use the tuning knob to move one channel at a time.

I do push the track buttons to get to the category, but when I use the tuning knob it just goes through all channels. Ex. channel 8 and 9 is Pop and 10 is Country. When I set the category to Pop and scroll with the knob, it goes 8, 9, and then 10. It shouldn't go to 10. It's driving me nuts

That's the way it is...it will not just stay in that category. It's like that on the new G37s too.
