xm radio is about to expire

my xm radio trial period is about to expire. i lost the renewal letter...does anyone remember the renewal price and if there is a discount?thanks!

I don't see a discount. It's US$ 12.99/month. 9.99/month (for 3 year contract).

I'd say call 'em up and tell em that you're going cancel it, they might give you a better rate.

There was a thread a while back in which a Rogue owner, who let his XM trial expire, was lured by a $77 per year subscription (quite a savings). Moreover, with any intended merger with Sirius, the packages and rates will change -- more a la cart for $7 per month. I would hold off if you cannot negoiate the $77 per year. I've got two more months on my trial offer.

there is a big thread over at slickdeals on this.. mine is about to expire also.I am not sure what to do. Some people say that you will never get the $77 deal once the merger takes affect, but i am not sure what will happen to this XM everything plan if they dump most of the XM channels in favor of Sirius ones.Its possible you would need new hardware.

also, i do not want to give them a credit card, as i hear they screw people over by auto renewing, and billing even when you cancel.

I only listen to maybe 10-15 different XM stations, so I am not sure what to do right now

i just called a month ago and said i got a flyer saying 77 bux a year. So they gave it to me no if's ands or buts. My trial ends in may, then it auto goes to 77 for a year

i renewed yesterday for $77.00 per year. i mentioned the "come back to xm for $77.00" promotion mailing. i paid on my credit card. no problems

Sirus isn't really an option since my Rogue came with XM. If my Rogue did come with Sirus, I would consider that option though.
