XM Radio in '05 Maxima Help

Hi All,

New to this forum and would appreciate any advise on this. I have an '05 Maxima SE and I just purchased an XM radio. It's the kind that you can use either in the car or home. Came with a vehicle dock kit and have a few questions.

1. My stock radio has a SAT button, would that mean there is an Aux audio input available that I could plug my XM dock audio output into instead of using the FM transmission?

2. Would there also be a satelite antenna connection there or would I have to use the magnetic exterior mount antenna that came with the XM radio? Would the car have had a different type of antenna if the satelite radio came in the car from the factory?

3. How do I get the trim panel off to get access to the radio head unit?
