XM Prewiring in an '07 M?

I have the base Bose system with no XM tuner. Are ALL Ms prewired for the OEM Infiniti XM tuner? If so, where does the harness enter the trunk area? I know the tuner is located on the passenger side up under the rear deck. I'm thinking of buying an OEM tuner off eBay and am curious as to whether I need to run any wiring from the tuner to the stock head unit?

I had an 07 before my 11, and when I looked, it wasn't. But then I heard that they were. The harness would be hidden under the rear deck (remove the trunk lining to get to it).

In searching this site, I found that some posts say that the 07 is prewired, others that say it isn't. Guess I'll just have to look and see what I find. Thanks!

I had an 07 before my current M as well. I was pushing the 'source' button on my steering wheel and found by accident that my car had an XM tuner. When I called to activate it, the XM rep told me that almost all Ms from 2006 forward had the tuner, or were at least wired for it. My Infiniti service rep thinks the tuner came with the tech package only and that no other models were wired for it. So apparently, nobody can tell you for sure.
If you scroll through the source button, you will go through AM, FM, DISC, and then XM should appear on your NAV screen and channel 01 should start playing. That is their advert channel and it's the only channel you will receive. If that does NOT happen, you do not have a tuner installed, but you may be pre-wired for it. If you want to activate it, use the tuner knob to step down to channel 0 and the screen will show you your 'radio ID number'. You will need that number when you call XM to start an account.

So - at least in my case - there is a prewired harness for an XM tuner. I ordered an OEM XM tuner off eBay and it took about 10 minute sto plug and play. The only glitch was that the metal bracket/cage for the tuner is not the same size as the tuner. I find this somwhat strange...maybe I bought the wrong model XM tuner, yet it works!
