Anybody else having issues with their XM? Mine seams to fade in and out everytime I go under a tree or bridge. It didn't used to do that.

Also...every time I switch to Octane, it has to load. Every time. Weird?!?!?

I understand that, but it didn't do it before. Especially just going under a tree hanging over the road. My husband's truck will pick up Sirius in the Garage. I would assume they are using the same satalite since they merged.

mine always goes out in my garage at home and at work... The only issue I have had recently is that it would randomly cut out and say "LOADING" even though I was out driving in broad daylight. Sometimes it would come back in a couple seconds, and sometimes it would be longer...

Octane is a great station BTW... :bigthumb:

Sirius and XM do not use the same satellites.

Sirius does fade from time to time for short periods while driving. I use my Sportster V at work and I lose signal for short periods of time as the satellites orbit. Very annoying especially when Stern is interviewing one of Tiger Woods favorites discussing his performance. :chuckle:

something is changing the link from wikipedia to wakopedia ???? It shows correct in the preview but the i in wikipedia changes to a when posted?? Must be my age WTF

The satellites are in a geosynchronous orbit. There's 3 of them, and each one is over the USA 16 out of 24 hours each day. This guarantees that there are always 2 of them broadcasting over the USA.

Maybe Sirius sucks? I just got a great deal from them, and have been back on it for around a month...not completely sold on it...but that is a rant in the making for some other day.
