XM "Chan Unavailable" message 2013 Rogue

Hello! Signed up for the forum just a little while ago hoping someone could help us out. Searched but couldnt find this issue anywhere.

Wife took her 2013 Rogue in for an alignment this evening and afterwards just the XM portion of the head unit started acting up. CD/AUX/USB/Radio are all fine, just XM. When you put it on XM, it displays the preset set XM 3, on channel 1, preset number 5. It'll say this on the screen for a second or so and then flash a pop up that says "Chan Unavailable". That goes away and then all the other comes back, then the pop up again. It won't cycle through XM 1 and XM 2 presets; stays on XM3 when you press the XM button. I tried sending a signal refresh to the radio but that isnt going to do any good because you can't hear the preview channel when its doing its thing.

Sounds like a defective head unit. If it continues to act up I'd take it to the dealership.

A few views it seems. I do appreciate the reply. I'll be calling the dealership here shortly. It seems weird that it happened right after she had the alignment as one shouldn't have anything at all to do with the other. Oh, that coincidence guy is a son of a b.

Try unscrewing and reattaching the satellite antennae? sounds like it may be loose to me.

Thank you; I will try that this evening. I did call the dealership and we are going to set up an appointment for next week after I talk to my wife about her availability. Of course the Rogue is out of warranty by 200-300 miles, but the tech said they may be able to get it fixed or replaced regardless or with some kind of good will deal. Also, my Best Man's mom is essentially right under the owner at the dealership and has been forever so that may help us out a bit.
